


There are currently 7-Day Full Playing Memberships, Intermediate Memberships, Corporate Memberships and Junior Memberships available, in addition to Social Membership. Membership retention rates at Vale Royal Abbey are exceedingly high which is testament to the condition of the course, the quality of the facilities and the welcoming, friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the Club.

There are certain procedures to be followed before becoming a Member, but initially all that is required is for prospective members to complete and submit an application form to the Club along with payment of the appropriate joining fee and pro-rata subscription (the subscription year begins on October 1st and finishes on September 30th). Once these items are received by the Club you can begin to use the golf course and associated facilities, including the clubhouse.
Once your application form is received, your name along with those of your Proposer and Seconder, will be displayed in the clubhouse for a period of 14 days to allow existing Members to make representation on your application. After this period you may be asked to attend an interview with the Membership Committee which acts as a representative body for the Club to assure existing Members of the suitability of prospective new Members. While it is rare that any issues are raised at these procedural events, your Membership remains subject to you being accepted as a new Member by the Membership Committee who reserve the right to reject your application at which point, should it be necessary, your Membership will cease and all monies paid will be returned in full.

The following subscriptions and joining fees are applicable for the 2009/2010 Membership year.

All fees detailed above are inclusive of VAT.
Joint Membership will receive a 10% reduction on the above 7-Day Full Playing subscription and joining fee detailed.
Male Union Fees will be charged at an additional £8.00 per annum.
Female Union Fees will be charged at an additional £14.70 per annum.

We would not expect prospective Club members to consider Membership without sampling the facilities the Club has to offer. Therefore, we always recommend you take a tour of the course, clubhouse, grounds and facilities of the Club, as well as perhaps arranging a complimentary round of golf, at your convenience. This would be played with a Committee Member, or approved representative of Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club.
Whilst it is a bold statement to make, we guarantee you will not be disappointed by either the venue or the standard of the golfing facilities.
