Featuring a remarkable vaulted ceiling adorned with Coats of Arms, ornate fireplaces, and huge oak doors, the Great Hall is steeped in history and provides a unique atmosphere and an ambience all of its own. The Great Hall is fully versatile and an ideal venue for larger events seating up to 120 guests for a sit-down dinner or up to 200 guests for a theatre-style conference.
The large, feature-windows and magnificent carved doorways of the Library provide a grand and homely setting that gracefully complements the Great Hall. The Library offers an informal setting and is used for more intimate, relaxed occasions, seating up to 50 guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 120 guests for a Wedding Civil Ceremony or theatre-style conference.
The Lounge enjoys the stunning backdrop of Vale Royal Abbey’s 18-hole golf course and directly overlooks the Great House courtyard, 1st tee and 18th green. In keeping with Vale Royal Abbey’s history and tradition, it is tastefully furnished featuring inviting leather sofas and boasts its own private bar. The Lounge represents a welcoming setting for more intimate occasions and business meetings, while also being the reception area for larger events being held in the Great Hall and Library.
The Armoury can be utilised as another bar and reception area for larger events held in the Great Hall. Accessible via the original stone staircase, the Armoury is comfortably furnished and provides a unique ambience ahead of arrival into the Great Hall.
The grounds of Vale Royal Abbey are as stunning as the building itself. The well-manicured lawns are available for drinks receptions providing a relaxed country feel, while offering splendid views of the Cheshire countryside.
